KID FOCUS 5 STAR AWARD PROGRAM
How do you choose the products you buy or the services you use? Do you simply accept as gospel truth all the good things a merchant says about their own product? Or, do you ask your friends’ opinions and look for independent product reviews before opening your wallet?
If you’re a savvy consumer (which of course you are), then you put more stock in your friends’ opinions and independent product reviews.
KidFocus is dedicated to providing useful information to parents and guardians about all things to do with kids. Designed to help parents and caregivers of all backgrounds make informed decisions about which products are right for their children. The KidFocus Awards program honors the best material for children. So we will review things such as children’s products, family products, movies, books, blogs, websites, games and anything else you can think of.
The KidFocus awards will help you decide if a product or item is worthy for your child, or perhaps it will help you make a hard present buying decision a much easer one!
HOW DOES SOMETHING QUALIFY FOR A 5 STAR KID FOCUS AWARD?
Each item that is reviewed by the KidFocus team must meet varied criteria. We look for the following:
We look for products that entertain and teach with interest, stimulate imagination and inspire creativity.
We are interested in how a product helps a child grow in all facets of development;
socially, intellectually, emotionally, ethically, physically.
- We look for material that helps parents and kids connect.
- We look for products that teach.
The 5 stars are for the following points =
1. Learning value
2. Play value
3. Age appropriate to target audience
4. Appeal (colours, size etc)
5. Cost (value for money)
